In 1998, I was really into stain glass windows and winding staircases. So, I decided to combine my love for both and create a New Orleans Style Courtyard. I also had a very special lady friend for several years whose last name was Bocage. I loved her French name, so when coming up with a name, I decided to call my painting after her. “The Bocage Courtyard”.
